Projects
Exhibitions, cultural events, publications, and educational initiatives.
The core concept underpinning our projects is to unlock and expand accessibility to Giorgio Griffa’s work and the thought-provoking, enriching insights that it offers. The aim is to reach out not only to insiders, curators, and collectors, but to a vaster audience of art enthusiasts and institutional players from the local to the global scale, starting with the City of Turin and its metropolitan area and the Piedmont Region.

Exhibitions & Events
The foundation supports and sponsors institutional exhibitions dedicated to the work of Giorgio Griffa. Building on its archive work, the foundation is the authority of reference for museums, foundations, and institutions looking to source works and specific materials and information on Giorgio’s life and work.
The foundation is also involved directly in the design and production of specific exhibitions and cultural events, for which it may act as a promotor and organizer, or more simply as an active, hands-on partner.
Publications & Videos
The foundation’s publishing work takes inspiration from Giorgio’s own art and thought in striving to be essential and never superficial, engaging with the knowledge and reality of the known world while opening up perspectives and insights into the unknown, without seeking to capture, pin down, or explain it.
The foundation is prolific in the production of print and digital publications, films, video interviews, and documentaries. It is involved directly in the making, editing, and supervision of works, providing advisory to publishers and film producers, or acting as a publisher/co-publisher or producer/co-producer itself.
The publications of greatest prestige produced by the foundation are those authored by Giorgio Griffa himself. They include books outlining his thoughts and ideas about his painting, catalogs for institutional exhibitions featuring texts penned by Griffa, and artist’s books, in which the foundation often plays a leading editorial role.
